Please note: We ship from Ireland. All delivery times are estimates and may vary during busy periods, public holidays, or due to factors outside our control.
1. Where We Ship
We currently ship to the following destinations:
Republic of Ireland
Northern Ireland
United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales)
European Union Member States
If your country is not listed above, please contact us at karen@cascatahair.ie before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate you.
2. Processing Times
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days of receiving payment confirmation (business days are Monday–Friday, excluding Irish public holidays).
Orders placed after [2pm] on a Friday, or over a weekend or public holiday, will begin processing on the next business day.
Peak periods: During busy periods such as Christmas, New Year, and promotional sales events, processing times may be extended. We will communicate any significant delays on our website and via email.
3. Shipping Rates & Estimated Delivery Times
3.1 Republic of Ireland
Standard Delivery via An Post): €9.95 — Estimated 1–2 business days
3.2 Northern Ireland & UK
Standard Delivery: €14.50 — Estimated 3–5 business days
3.3 European Union
Standard Delivery: €19.95 — Estimated 5–10 business days
All delivery charges are calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your order. Prices include applicable VAT for Republic of Ireland deliveries.
4. Shipping Carriers
We use the following carriers to fulfil orders: An Post. The carrier used for your order will be confirmed in your dispatch email.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your parcel. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active.
If you have not received a dispatch confirmation email within [5 business days] of placing your order, please check your spam/junk folder before contacting us at karen@cascatahair.ie.
6. Customs, Duties & Taxes
6.1 Republic of Ireland & EU Orders
All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT at the applicable Irish/EU rate. There are no additional customs charges for deliveries within Ireland or the EU.
6.2 United Kingdom (Post-Brexit)
From 1 January 2021, orders shipped to the United Kingdom may be subject to UK import duties, taxes, and customs charges, depending on the total value of the order. These charges are levied by UK Customs and are the responsibility of the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
We are not responsible for any delays caused by customs clearance processes. We recommend contacting UK Customs or visiting the UK Government's official website (gov.uk) for more information before ordering.
6.3 Other International Destinations
For deliveries outside Ireland and the EU, the recipient is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and any other charges levied by local authorities. These are not included in our prices.
7. Failed, Delayed & Lost Deliveries
7.1 Failed Delivery Attempts
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, our courier will leave a notification card or send an email/SMS with instructions for re-delivery or collection. If the parcel is returned to us due to non-collection or an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by you:
We will contact you to arrange re-delivery at an additional charge; or
If you prefer a refund, we will refund the cost of your order minus the original delivery charge and any return shipping costs incurred by us.
7.2 Delays
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including adverse weather conditions, industrial action, postal/courier disruptions, or customs processing delays. However, if your order is significantly delayed, please contact us and we will do our best to assist.
7.3 Lost Parcels
A parcel is considered lost if it has not been delivered within 10 business days of the estimated delivery date (for Irish deliveries) or 20 business days for international orders, and tracking shows no movement.
If you believe your parcel is lost, please contact us at karen@cascatahair.ie with your order number and tracking information. We will open an investigation with the carrier. Please note that we cannot raise a lost parcel investigation until the above timeframes have passed, as the carrier requires this waiting period.
Once a lost parcel is confirmed, we will offer you a replacement or full refund at our discretion.
7.4 Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged, please do not discard the packaging. Take photographs of the damaged packaging and products and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at karen@cascatahair.ie. We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
8. Incorrect Delivery Address
Please ensure that your delivery address is correct and complete when placing your order. We are unable to redirect parcels once they have been dispatched. If you notice an error in your delivery address immediately after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible at karen@cascatahair.ie and we will do our best to update it before dispatch.
We accept no liability for non-delivery or delivery to the wrong address as a result of an incorrect address being provided.
